What is Tested?
The Advanced Test Panel includes testing intolerances to the following items:
-
What is a food sensitivity?Food sensitivity occurs when the body can't completely digest a particular food and the proteins of this food enter the bloodstream undissolved and cause an immune system reaction.
-
What do your tests do?Our simple, painless allergy/intolerance tests are able to pin point potentially harmful foods/items that could be causing your symptoms.
-
How do I take my blood sample? We provide you with an easy-to-follow set of instructions with your test kit. There are also video instructions on our website. We only use Unistik 3 Comfort lancets which are one of the best quality brands on the market. The lancets are designed to give you a tiny prick on the finger to start the blood flow. It’s the same as a diabetes pinprick test and, if administered correctly following our provided instructions, should not hurt. Your sample instructions are found with your kit. However, click here to read instruction to help you with your blood spot testing.
-
How long should I leave my blood sample to dry for?To ensure your results are accurate, your blood sample needs to be completely dry before packaging. If stored in a cool, dry place, it will be ready to be folded after approximately 5 hours. We do not recommend speeding the drying process through any other means.
-
Does it hurt to take a blood test?We provide you with two lancets, which are designed to give you a very small prick to start the blood flow. It's exactly the same as a pin prick and if administered correctly, will not hurt.
-
Can you complete the test on animals?Unfortunately, we cannot carry out our blood or hair tests on animals.
-
Will medication affect my test results in anyway?Unfortunately as there is a large variety in medication thay may affect your samples. We would recommend you take a blood sample at least 2 hours away from any intake of medicine. Alternatively, you may seek advice from your doctor, who will be able to advise further. We are also available to help you. Our dedicated Customer Services team will be glad to assist you ... simply contact us by email.
-
Where are the samples tested?Samples are tested at our centre based in London, UK. Once the blood sample has been received at our testing facility you will receive your results within 7 working days. Tests are completed in our laboratory facilities which follow Good Laboratory Practice. These are a set of principles intended to ensure the quality and integrity of non-clinical laboratory studies such as ours.
-
Who can be tested? Our test is suitable for anyone and of any age. Please note that children who are not yet on solid foods can only be tested for liquid items eg. milk etc.
-
How many tests will I need? This is dependant on the individual but we tend to find that only one test is necessary. Generally, people start to feel noticeable improvements once the potentially harmful foods/items are removed from their diet. However, for further reassurance, many people take at least one follow up test approximately 3 months after the original test. This helps to monitor the progress whilst carrying out any eliminations from your food diet.
-
Will I have to avoid certian foods forever? This will depend on whether your body can tolerate the food once it has been reintroduced into your diet, after an initial 3 months from refraining. In some circumstances, this 3 month period may have to be extended, if, for example the bodys immune and digestive systems need additional support to eradicate the underlying problem.
-
Is it worth doing a test?If you are in need of some nutritional guidance, then finding out which foods, drinks, pollutants/external factors may be causing health problems for you could be invaluable. It is true that intolerances can change over time and it is important to highlight that testing can be open to interpretation. No test is 100% accurate, however what we have found from clinical experience in performing our tests for hundreds of clients shows that 85% of our clients report feeling better within two weeks of eliminating the identified foods illustrated by our tests.
-
How long will it take to get my results? Our tests take 5 to 7 working days from the date that we receive your sample in our UK lab.
-
I've not purchased from the internet before. How can I be sure that you will complete and send out the tests?Unlike most allergy testing companies, we are not simply an online company. Under our parent company name of Herbal Traditions Ltd, we are a natural health clinic based in Ilford (East London) where you are welcome to come and visit us. Our clinic has been running for over 7 years where we offer a host of health products, wellness tests and scanning services. We see over 10 visiting clients every day at our clinic. What is Bioresonance?Bioresonance therapy is one of a number of procedures including homeopathy, acupuncture and other naturopathic procedures that fall within the area of alternative medicine. Bioresonance therapy was invented in Germany in 1977 by Franz Morell. The concept of bioresonance is based on the premise that all particles of matter generate electromagnetic energy (including humans). With the introduction of bioresonance technology, such energy and frequency patterns can not only be measured, but also challenged against other frequency patterns which, in turn, produces notable outcomes for analysis.
-
Is Bioresonance Testing different from conventional testing? In short, yes. Even though the most basic food allergy test is considered safe and not painful at all, the fact that the skin needs to be pricked is certainly not pleasant for many people. Thus, people with food allergies often seek out alternative methods to test their allergies. Bioresonance therapy is often a preferred alternative method, offering a safe and much less invasive method of testing for particular foods that a person may experience allergic reactions to.
-
How does your Bioresonance Testing work? With bioresonance testing, electromagnetic waves of certain foods have been programmed into the Class 11a medical device utilised during the test. A DNA sample (in this case, blood) of the patient is then taken and different electromagnetic waves are emitted toward the DNA sample collected. The device provides the practitioner with information regarding how the DNA sample reacts to the electromagnetic waves that are being sent to it. This provides the practitioner with details on particular types of foods that the body shows a sensitivity to.
